VERSE OF THE DAY

WELCOME TO ALL NATIONS CHURCH

Proclaiming Christ or "Kerygma"

" If we really proclaim the Gospel, we will help the unsaved not to respond to a series of theological propositions but to a person : Jesus-Christ." "

The Gospel of Jesus-Christ, the preaching of the Apostles, and the doctrine of the Early church, all assume the common sinful nature of the mankind. Because of man’s sinful nature, the Gospel embodies a call to repentance and faith. The church has to reach out the lost by preaching a Christ-centered message. By doing so, we will help the unsaved not to respond to a series of theological propositions but to a person – Jesus-Christ.

Our kerygma admonishes the unbelievers from all nations of the earth to accept the gift of salvation offered by Jesus- Christ. There is only One true God, the Lord Jehovah God of Israel, the Creator of the Universe. God is spirit but he became a man - 2000 years ago - in order to show the mankind the way of Salvation, to reveal the truth about the meaning of life and to provide an abundant life to this desperate generation . That's the reason why we are committed to proclaim Christ to the nations of the earth.

" Don't try to explain the Gospel to the human brain, proclaim it to his spirit ! "

There are only two things that God has breathed in this earth : the spirit of man and the Scriptures. They both came from the same source which is the Spirit of God. They have been acquainted since the eternity and somehow they know each other. That’s why we don’t need to explain the Gospel to the human brain when we preach. We just proclaim Christ to the spirit of man. It is in the realm of his spirit that man can feel the spiritual hunger for God, or get convinced for sins and cry out to the Savior and receive the message of salvation .

It is tempting to presume that the perversion that is ensnaring the present generation makes it hard to win souls for the Lord. But we know, the same Lord who said «…in the last days perilous time will come…men will be unholy,…lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God » (2 Tim. 3 :14) is the same God who said : « ... and it shall come to pass in the last days…that I will pour my Spirit on all flesh…and they shall prophesy » (Act. 2 : 17-18) . The last days are characterized not only by the abundance of sins but also by the streaming of the anointing that will usher Jesus into the hearts of those who receive His Word. Accordingly, we understand why the Lord urged his disciples to wait until they will receive the power from the Holy Spirit before going to proclaim the Good News. The reason is : « the anointing brakes the yoke of sins ».

The Rush Hour, The wrath Hour !

During the very last minutes of a football or soccer game, each playing team have to maximize its strategies and gather its very remnant of energies to score before the last second. Likewise, we read in the Rev 12.7-11 that the Devil is come down having great wrath…knowing he only has a short time. Jesus also reminds the urgency of the evangelization to His disciples when He says : « Do you not say, ‘ There are still four months and then come the harvest’ ? Behold, I say unto you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already ripe for harvest ! » (John 4 :35).

When Apostle Paul went to Athena, his spirit was stirred in him when he saw that city wholly given to idolatry (Act 17 :16). That’s a holly wrath. The devil is not the only one with a wrath. We are stirred and full of a heavenly wrath against the devil. This mean, we can't wait to plunder the kingdom of darkness through the proclaiming of the Gospel of Christ.

We all are living in the rush hours of the very last days of our era. The Lord made His disciples’ task crystal - clear : « You shall be my witnesses… » (Acts 1 :8), « …make disciples of all the nations… » (Mat.28 :19).
